Automation in Biology Community collects and curates scholarly outputs that advance, document, evaluate, or apply automation in biological research.

It welcomes research papers, preprints, software, source code, datasets, protocols, computational and experimental workflows, book chapters, technical reports, hardware designs, posters, presentations, and educational materials.

Relevant topics include laboratory automation, robotic experimentation, automated sample preparation, high-throughput experimentation, autonomous and self-driving laboratories, biofoundries, automated microscopy and phenotyping, automated biological data analysis, workflow-management systems, laboratory-information systems, scientific software and instrumentation, standards and interoperability, reproducible automated protocols, and machine learning integrated with experimental workflows.

Software submissions should use the submission portal. Detailed instructions are available in the submission documentation.
